Responsible use on the web needs more attention to warn kids or high school children. Usernames and online profiles link your identidy to everything you do on the internet. If your not careful, things that you search or publish can hang around to haunt you untill the information is deleted. Many people will have information about them in a typical google search that even they may have forgotten about. This trail of internet use is called a digital footprint, and is something you have to be aware of to stay responsible on the internet.
Under my name, Lewis Mountford many results related to me in the following are my digital footprint.Facebook, Instagram, Hockey achievments, cricket achievments and a profile which is used for my day to day work.Without me trying to put myself out on the internet, many searches can still give information about me, which shows how long your digital footprint can hang around.
