The internet is becoming more and more apart of our day to day lives. Simple everyday tasks such as going to the bank, going on a date or playing a game can all be done from the comfort of your own house. While the internet provides us convienience, it also gives us many risks that we have to be aware of. A few common risks we have to look out for include, exposure to unexpected content, fruead of identity or bank accounts and breaking copyright agreements. I will explain a few of the most common dangers to improve awareness on the internet.

Trolling
Trolling is the act where someone will go out of their way to upset someone else or to cause conflict with a group or individual. Most typically on online gaming or discussion forums. Some people feel like they have a power or a confidence to talk out, that they would not normally have in a face to face communication. Trolls will hide behind their keyboard where no one can hurt them, but they find enjoyment in hurting other internet users.
Fraud
The internet is used to do a lot of activities that involve private information. Becuase this private information can give you access to tools such as bank accounts or money connections, fraud is a large part of internet saftey. Fraud is most commonly seen in gambling communities, social networking or banking.
